Adrian West Band at Osher Marin JCC

The popular six-piece band is bringing its original acoustic rock and jazz to the Osher Marin JCC.
TheAdrian West Bandare bringing their original acoustic rock and jazz to the Osher Marin JCC on Sunday, October 25th.

The popular six-piece band will be performing two sets of acoustic rock and jazz, a sound they describe as "Paul Simon meets Talking Heads meets Herbie Hancock." Based in Oakland, the band is led by Adrian West, a classically trained violinist turned drummer, guitarist and singer whose lyrics range from whimsical to philosophical. His band leans on jazz-trained players, so the originals get room to stretch, and the set mixes in popular jazz standards plus a rock cover or two. Expect roughly 70% originals and 30% covers and standards, including songs by Dave Matthews, the Indigo Girls, Chuck Mangione, Chick Corea and Kenny Garrett.
