Venue Details: It seats 315 in upholstered comfort, has a 40-foot proscenium, and is fully equipped with theatrical lighting, dimming and studio quality sound system. There is also a light and sound control booth with provisions for slide and 16mm film projection. When the Showcase Theatre isn't being a theatre, it's a meeting room. Many Marin businesses and organizations schedule meetings and conferences at the Showcase. In either case, no seat is more than 45 feet from the stage.

Join us for the fifth Marin County screening of The Mood of America.
The 1968 BBC film chronicles the aftermath of the voluntary school desegregation plan, implemented in 1965 by the Sausalito Marin City School District, in an effort to create equal educational opportunities.
Produced as part of the BBC's Man Alive series, the documentary was never aired in the United States.
Following the screening, stay for a moderated panel discussion with community members and an audience Q&A.
