Join our Rangers for an evening walk along the ridge to enjoy the stunning San Francisco Bay skyline to the south and east as the sun sets behind Mount Tamalpais to the west. Experience the changing light, cooler air, and nocturnal wildlife while learning about nighttime ecology. Bring your curiosity and see the trail in a whole new light. The hike features gentle rolling hills with an elevation gain of approximately 50 feet. Appropriate for all ages. No pets are allowed, except for service/companion animals. Dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. Bring a headlight or a flashlight. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel. Check the calendar or call (415) 473-2816 two hours before the event to confirm the status. Registration is required.
