Poetry Out Loud is a national program in which high school students participate in a dynamic poetry recitation competition that is designed to improve their public speaking skills, help build confidence, and teach them about literary history and contemporary life. The Marin County Finals will be a competition of two rounds of poetry recitation by local Marin County high schoolers and the will move on to compete in the State Championship in Sacramento. Come out to support our local high schoolers at this free event!
