Stafford Lake Park Stewardship

Meet at Stafford Lake Park in Novato (3549 Novato Blvd). From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the San Marin Dr exit west 2.9 miles, turn right onto Novato Blvd, and follow for 2.6 miles. The park is on the left. Turn right after the gatehouse and follow to the last parking lot.

Stafford spans 139 acres and offers visitors a wide range of recreational facilities amidst diverse natural habitats. Here, you'll find lake shorelines, riparian corridors, grasslands adorned with seasonal wildflowers, oak woodlands, and a shady redwood forest that provides panoramic views of the lake and surrounding hills. Our work will vary and shift depending on your interests and emerging project opportunities. The goal for the spring season will be to focus on invasive plant management, landscape maintenance, and trail work in and around the Bike Park. Appropriate for ages 12 and older. We'll provide snacks and water. Bring gloves and a water bottle. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed. Adverse weather or air quality may cancel.
