Stop by Ring Mountain for a self-guided adventure with our Rangers. Check in at the table anytime during the event to pick up a map and route instructions, then head out to explore a series of highlighted stops at your own pace. Along the way, discover what makes this place so special, from striking geology to rare plants and sweeping views. When you've completed the route, return to the ranger table to top it off with a refreshing trailside root beer float. The hike will cover up to a mile on uneven terrain with some elevation. Appropriate for all ages. Friendly dogs are welcome on leash. Dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel. Check the calendar or call (415) 473-2816 two hours before the event to confirm the status. Registration is encouraged.
