CERT Class Basic Training August 2026
Get certified with FEMA approved disaster preparedness training that teaches you the basics of disaster response and safety with practical, hands-on skills. This training is open to anyone aged 14 and over in Marin County.
You must attend and complete ALL sessions to gain the CERT certification. Spaces are limited, so please only sign up if you can commit to attending both sessions. The first day will be all lecture, and the final day (August 30th) will be part lecture followed by a short disaster simulation where students will work as teams during a mock disaster.
Registration deadline: Students must register by August 18, 2026.
