CERT Class Basic Training August 2026

Get certified with FEMA approved disaster preparedness training that teaches you the basics of disaster response and safety with practical, hands-on skills. This training is open to anyone aged 14 and over in Marin County.

Directions: Meet at Point Reyes Park in Point Reyes Station (2 Toby St, Point Reyes Station 94956). From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the exit for Sir Francis Drake Blvd west 20.4 miles to Olema. Turn right onto Hwy 1 and go 2.1 miles.  Make a left on Mesa Rd; the Park is on your right and street parking is along available along Mesa Rd.

Meet at the McInnis Park dock in San Rafael (310 Smith Ranch Rd). From Hwy 101 in San Rafael, take the exit for Smith Ranch Rd east, then drive approximately 0.7 miles. Enter the park and look for the softball field on the right. Turn right, then immediately turn left into the dock parking area.

Directions: Meet at the Tennessee Valley Trailhead. From Hwy 101, take the Stintson Beach exit to Hwy I and follow .3 miles. Turn left onto Tennessee Valley Rd and follow to the parking area at the end of the road.

Turn left onto Hwy 1 and follow it for 13.6 miles. Turn right at the Stinson Beach Parking (GGNRA) sign, then park in the first lot on the right.
