Through his work he hopes to inspire and uplift, to capture the magnificence of everyday reality, and to raise questions that are relevant for him and for our time. Stewards of the Land highlights the Indigenous diaspora in Marin County and seeks to uplift them as essential voices in our communities. Their portraits and stories carry forth the ancestral knowledge of reciprocity and sustainable care for the earth. The current extraction-based economy normalizes the desecration and exploitation of Mother Earth. Indigenous values offer a holistic perspective of seeing every plant, animal, and landscape as relatives and not profit. This intimate connection has allowed Indigenous peoples to thrive and live in harmony with the natural world for thousands of years.

Turn right onto Hwy 1 and go 2.1 miles.  Make a left on Mesa Rd; the Park is on your right and street parking is along available along Mesa Rd.
