The Toddlers on Ice (TOI) Program introduces our youngest skaters to the ice and can prepare them for our Learn to Skate USA Group Lesson Program or lifelong recreational skating.
Toddlers, ages 18 months through four years, with the reassuring presence of their caregiver adult, are welcomed inside a playful and relaxed environment, a place to explore large motor development, and where an interest in the sport of ice skating is cultivated in a positive atmosphere. Each week is themed (i.e. “bugs”; “seasons”; “holidays”; “colors”) and follows a one-hour format.
Cost:
Drop-in for open gym for children under the age of 5. All kids must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times.
Weekdays Mon-Fri
Blue Butterfly Open Tot Play is every Wednesday during the rainy season where the little ones can jump around and play with others! We offer a drop-in fee of $20 (cash or check payable to the Town of Fairfax) and an online monthly offer of $8 per session (online registration recommended). This group is parent run, guided play for kids and their caregivers, a fun atmosphere featuring activities and connection that encourages creative movement, free play, parachute time, bouncy house and more.
Join us to sing, dance and play while learning/practicing Spanish at Cucu's PlayHouse. Children will be introduced to basic concepts like animals, colors and numbers through the universal language of Music. Each session is fun, interactive and engaging.
A selection of Children Songs in Spanish guides the class from start to finish. Activities are related to the lyrics, in order to familiarize the children with the words and their meanings. Some of the songs encourage the children to dance. Our instructor uses puppets, musical instruments, and props to teach children basic vocabulary through action and interaction, rather than through translation.
Every 1st Friday Soul4Kidz performs music in the park for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and caregivers! Sing along and dance to soulful twists on songs like Baby Shark, The Wheels on the Bus, I'm a Little Teapot, Happy, You Are My Sunshine, Three Little Birds, and many more! Great for ages 0-5.
