Get ready for a night of pure songwriting magic on Thursday, April 9th asMarshall Crenshaw—one of America’s most beloved power-pop storytellers—takes the Sweetwater stage alongside the brilliantJames Mastro.
From his breakout role portraying John Lennon inBeatlemaniato his legendary 1982 debut albumMarshall Crenshaw, he’s built a career defined by timeless melodies and razor-sharp songwriting. Expect to hear fan favorites like“Someday, Someway,” “Cynical Girl,”and“(You’re My) Favorite Waste of Time”—songs that have stood the test of time and still hit just as sweet.
Babies, children, and caregivers are invited to join native Spanish-speaker and seasoned performer Ingrid Pelligrini for 30 minutes of Spanish Storytime, complete with stories, songs, rhymes, puppets, and guitar accompaniment!
This is an excellent opportunity for families to introduce or broaden Spanish comprehension and supplement language skills in the context of song and story.
Carpet squares are available or bring your own blanket! Remember to wear sunscreen and bring a sun hat for you and your little ones. This event is weather permitting and may be cancelled if it is raining or poor air quality.
